P and D Marine Services unveils Jellyfishbot to UK Market at RWM Letsrecycle Live
Exclusive UK distributor of Jellyfishbot, P and D Marine Services, has used its stage at this year’s RWM Letsrecycle Live show to get water pollution to the top of the industry’s agenda.
Delegates and potential investors looking to keep commercial waterways clean as well as make their mark on the local environment, were given live demonstrations of the Jellyfishbot on stand, showcasing how the innovative product can clean microplastics, oil, debris and almost any type of floating waste from waterways.
Alongside its unparalleled ability to clean, Jellyfishbot can be equipped with sonar to conduct Bathymetric surveys down to a depth of 10m. Its intuitive interface is either programmable or operated by remote-control, meaning that hard to reach, problem areas can be cleaned easily without risk to workers or wildlife.
As well as showcasing just how much Jellyfishbot can do, P and D Marine Services offered a giveaway of a free waterway clean-up to a lucky showgoer, with the winner to be announced shortly.
“Jellyfishbot is such an exciting product and we’re thrilled to be bringing it to the UK,” said Simon Nadin, Managing Director for P&D Marine Group. “It has the potential to vastly improve how we clean waterways across the country, and we’re looking forward to what Jellyfishbot can offer us in the future.
“The wide range of applications for Jellyfishbot provide the perfect opportunity for business owners to begin building CSR programmes that support local clean-up efforts as well as engage with the wider green agenda that is dominating headlines. This is why we hosted our competition of a free waterway clean-up, to reinforce the importance.”
Jellyfishbot is available to purchase from £11,995 in its basic package and is also available as a service-hire option from P and D Marine Services at a cost of £450 + VAT per week – offering flexibility and a fully managed program without the need to make a purchase or be responsible for maintenance.
