Garic’s new Eco Estimator

Garic’s new Eco Estimator

Garic prides itself on providing sustainable solutions that not only minimise your carbon footprint but also reduce your fuel consumption and save on costs.

As one of the most trusted plant and site welfare equipment providers in the country, their products are regarded as some of the most innovative and eco-efficient on the market today.

On the 1st of November 2022, they unveiled their latest innovation… The Eco Estimator![1]

With their online tool, you can calculate the carbon footprint of your site when using an eco version of one of their products compared to a standard model. This means you are able to make big cost, fuel and carbon savings on your next construction project!

Compare either their static or mobile welfare units, then input your fuel type and project duration, as well as the hours per day and the days per week the unit will be used.

Take their mobile welfare unit, the Armadillo as an example… Let’s say Diesel costs £2 per litre, on a project that lasts 12 weeks, running the Armadillo for 7 hours a day, 5 days a week would cost £1,428.00 (714 litres) and produce 1793,8 KG of CO₂ emissions.

Then take the Armadillo Eco, which is solar-powered and backed up by a bespoke 12v super silent generator with auto stop-start functionality, in addition to a broad range of other eco-friendly additions. Running this unit for the same amount of time would cost £841.68 (420.8 litres) and produce 1057.3 KG of CO₂ emissions.

In total, this equates to a saving of £586.32 in diesel costs (293.2 litres) and 736.5 KG in CO₂ emissions! Not bad for a 12-week project!

Set your site to sustainable with Garic’s new Eco Estimator[2]  and see how much you can save!
